1ST SUMMIT BANK‘s Employee Foundation Donates $1,000 to Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center. During the month of October, employees from 1ST SUMMIT BANK participated in a fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness.

The bank’s Employee Foundation sold T-shirts and hosted dress down days during the month, allowing all 1ST SUMMIT Professionals to get involved.

Ultimately, the Employee Foundation raised $1,000 to donate to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber.

According to the Windber Healthcare Foundation, the donation will help fund Pink Ribbon Care, a program that provides assistance for patients who are unable to pay for breast-related health services including mammograms, follow-up diagnostic services, and genetic counseling.
